Centralized Database Model Based on the ORWELL 2K video recognition algorithms
Orwell 2K is the set of algorithms which intelligently record and analyze the client facility, showing to the operator only important security information. By the use of advanced analytics, Orwell 2K relieves facility personnel from looking at each video, and analyzing all events. By presenting all security related information Orwell 2K allows a single terminal operator (security personnel) to fully monitor a multi-kilometer area.
Orwell 2K is the base of multiple products, incorporated in the Orwell 2K perimeter, Orwell 2K City, and Orwell 2K airport systems. These systems use Orwell 2K analytics, detecting threats and improving security, each directed toward essential targets. While each system has distinct attributes, all have similar abilities such as the automatic license plate recognition and high-zoom face pictures, both of which are archived and searchable.
The Orwell 2K system enhances security by:
detecting all moving objects;
identifying objects;
categorizing by type and threat level;
human;
vehicle;
animal;
thrown object;
object left behind;
analyzing behavior of targets;
alerting operator during threatening events.
Analytics incorporated into Orwell 2K Products are accompanied by several aiding components. These components identify humans, track human movement, and restrict access to unauthorized humans. More importantly, these components increase security and reduce the need of human involvement for security and management. Such aiding components include:
Biometrics (fingerprint recognition);
RFID;
Fence touch detection.
Each event is archived, available for viewing and investigation from terminal. A terminal may be inside of monitored facility, through an internet access, or from anywhere on a hand held device (palm-pilot) on a GSM network. During event investigation, all objects and video may be digitally zoomed for clarification. All video and event archives are searchable by such characteristics as:
camera number;
location;
behavior of target;
type of target (human, animal, vehicle, etc.);
time/date;
color;
object size.
Applications
The analytics which allow Orwell 2K to detect and analyze targets are implemented in multiple setting, each requiring particular security options. These options range from detection of humans approaching airplanes in restricted regions to identifying how long each employee has been in the office. Several facility types incorporating Orwell 2K for real-time, real-security include:
