Orwell 2k City is designed to provide important security related information from a city environment. Similar to
DVR systems, O2K City provides real time information and generates a searchable video archive.
Unlike
DVR systems, O2K City encompasses features which allow for real security on busy streets and walkways.
With the use of PTZ and fixed cameras, O2K City recognizes vehicles and humans, and populates the searchable archive with defined and detailed images.
While
DVR systems do not record license plate numbers accurately enough for human recognition, O2K City records and archives detailed face pictures and license plate numbers from distances up to 100 meters from camera.
