The Orwell NVR economy model provides a flexible interface with all of the Orwell 2k amenities, but with limited analytics as a cost effective option.

Orwell 2k NVR

Digital Video Recorders

Orwell 2k NVR has all essential interface features, with several powerful analytic functions.

Orwell 2k NVR does not support all advanced Orwell 2k City analytics, but several are included. Orwell 2k NVR detects fire, smoke and motion, presenting alarms on a digital map, and video channels. Rotary cameras may be used to view the entire monitored area.

Each Orwell 2k NVR system supports between 1 and 16 video channels with adjustable resolution (4CIF max) and FPS (60 max) (total up to 200 CIF per second).

As all Orwell 2k products, any number of Orwell 2k NVR systems may be networked together to secure facilities of all sizes. A single operator may have access to any number of cameras simultaneously.

System features

System features

Orwell 2k NVR offers the advanced interface features of other Orwell 2k systems with fewer analytic functions. Orwell 2k NVR is completely network ready with all essentials of an effective NVR system with the addition of several high quality analytics for an extra level of safety.

  • Thousands of camera feeds may reside on one network
  • 1-16 camera feeds may be viewed on a single screen
  • Advanced detection analytics for fire, smoke and movement
  • Network capabilities for monitoring from anywhere through computer or hand held terminals
  • Integration is available with other technologies for multi-layered security solutions
  • 4 to 24 frames per second
  • 1CIF┬áto 2 Mega Pixel camera resolution

Interface components

Interface components

  • Hyper video matrix - 1000's per network, 1-16 per screen
  • Video Client - monitor from computer or PDA terminal
  • Network video recorder - searchable video and image archive
  • Analytics - motion, fire and smoke detection

Orwell 2k Perimeter is 10-100 times more cost effective than NVR systems, and 8-80 times more than intelligent video surveillance competitor.

Archive event search

Archive event search

All videos are stored in an archive searchable by entering a combination of attributes including:

  • Date and time segment
  • Type of target

Location of detection:

  • Digital map
  • Camera number

Rotary camera function

Rotary camera function

  • Archives detailed images and videos of significant events

Manually control by:

  • Onscreen joystick
  • Physical joystick
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard hotkeys
  • Touch screen

Digital map

Digital map

All cameras are calibrated to a drawn or captured satellite image. Locations of cameras and targets detected are presented as interactive illustrations. Each video feed may be viewed by clicking the digital map's illustration of it.

Scalability

Scalability

  • Cameras can be added or removed
  • Detection analytics can be turned on or off for any camera or segment
  • NVR, Biometrics, RFID, smoke and motion sensors, etc. can be integrated with Orwell 2k

Other Orwell 2k products may be integrated with Orwell 2k Perimeter for further security including:

  • Orwell 2k Barrier
  • Orwell 2k City
  • Orwell 2k Perimeter
  • Orwell 2k LPR
  • Orwell 2k SeaGuard
  • Orwell 2k Traffic
