Orwell 2k LPR

Orwell 2k LPR combines state of the art license plate recognition analytics with vehicle type recognition for increased accuracy. Orwell 2k LPR is used in parking lots, border crossings, city streets, etc., to support existing security systems, and track activity.

 

System operation principle

 

Orwell 2k identifies symbolic representations of vehicle license plate numbers and matches that representation to an identified number in a database.

 

After license plate recognition, a comparison of the vehicle appearance is made. If the body type matches the body type registered to the license plate, the vehicle passes (may be used for access control, or information may be forwarded to police) and is allowed all privileges set in database. If the vehicle is not accepted based on one of the attributes, the event is presented to the operator who may allow the vehicle to continue, register it to database, or create an alarm. All operator selections are automatically fixed in a log.
