Biones announces its first installation of Orwell 2k Traffic - the first product of its kind.
Orwell 2k Traffic system identifies the following traffic violations together with violator's vehicle license plate:
- Running red lights
- Not stopping at stop signs
- Endangering pedestrians
- Illegal turns, U-turns
- Turning without stopping
- Illegal stop
- Parking in restricted area
- Stopping in restricted area
- Illegal lane change
- Driving in wrong direction
- Speeding - requires additional Biones equipment

Each of the above mentioned situations is identified with higher accuracy than traditional speeding and red-light camera systems.
Orwell 2k systems equip the user with essential instruments for investigation or real-time response, in this case - to traffic violations. The operator decides whether the violator should be ticketed or not. Human input is important for deciding whether to ticket or not due to AI imperfection, a false alarm rate of about 4%.
The violations detection settings are adjusted by system administrator to define which violations apply to which cameras and camera areas.
