Biones continues to expand its line of intelligent video surveillance with the addition of Orwell NVR - a simple indoor NVR solution with several of Orwell 2k's powerful components.
The NVR scalability: Orwell NVR supports 1-1000s of cameras, which can be added, removed or modified at any time. Each camera can be viewed from any interface on the network or remotely.
The NVR interface: all videos are viewable in real-time or from the archive. The cameras may be selected by number or the location on the digital map.
The NVR advanced features: in addition to simple motion detection, Orwell NVR detects and identifies fire and smoke. The user may select specific cameras to detect, identify and alarm on these events, or portions of the camera views.
The NVR hardware: Orwell NVR requires a PC and cameras. The cameras may be analog, thermal, IP, through encoders, Pan-Tilt-Zoom (supported), or megapixel. Depending on hardware and resolution/FPS, a single PC server may support between 1 and 32 cameras.
The NVR upgrade: existing CCTV and NVR systems may be upgraded to Orwell NVR without replacing cameras or wiring infrastructure. The Orwell NVR system may be upgraded to any Orwell 2k advanced analytics system without replacing cameras or wiring infrastructure.
The Orwell NVR system is a powerful yet simple and inexpensive indoor solution. The system provides the video management and archiving features of the most advanced intelligent video surveillance systems for investigative purposes, and fire and smoke detection for an increase in safety.
